About this Opportunity

Role: Senior Data Engineer Location: Manchester – Hybrid working Salary: £55k OTE PHMG is continuing to develop and mature its data capability, focusing on modernising our data platform and enhancing the way we work. As part of this continued development, we are looking to strengthen our Data Engineering team and maximise the value from the wealth of data held across the organisation.

Eligibility

  • Strong SQL and Python skills, with practical experience using both for data engineering and transformation.
  • Significant experience designing, building and supporting production data pipelines using modern ETL/ELT practices.
  • Experience working with modern cloud data platforms and orchestration technologies.
  • Experience within the Microsoft data ecosystem would be advantageous.
  • Strong data modelling experience, including dimensional modelling and designing datasets for downstream consumption.
  • Experience with modern engineering practices including Git-based source control, CI/CD, testing, monitoring and error handling.
