About this Opportunity
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Accountant (m/f/d) based in France.
Eligibility
- At least 3 years of professional accounting experience, including hands-on responsibility for German accounting practices under HGB and German tax requirements.
- Experience in the software, technology, or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) industry.
- Solid understanding of accrual accounting, financial reconciliations, journal entries, closing procedures, and financial reporting.
- Practical knowledge of German VAT requirements and familiarity with payroll tax declarations and statutory reporting obligations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to work confidently with financial data and accounting reports.
- Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting and enterprise resource planning systems is an advantage.
