PDF to Excel
Extract tables from PDF into an Excel workbook, one sheet per page. Works with scanned PDFs too. Free and processed in your browser.
How to use PDF to Excel
- Upload a PDF that contains tables.
- Convert it. Rows and columns are rebuilt from where each piece of text sits on the page.
- Download the .xlsx workbook. Each PDF page becomes its own worksheet.
Common uses
- Bank statements and invoices you need to total or filter
- Price lists, timetables and data tables published only as PDF
- Research data from reports and papers
Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Tables are extracted in your browser.
How accurate are the tables?
Grid-like tables with clear columns convert well. PDFs have no real table structure, only positioned text, so free-flowing paragraphs come out as one row per line.
Does it work with scanned PDFs?
Yes. Pages without readable text go through text recognition (OCR) first, which takes longer and depends on the scan quality.
